To use Ionic you need Node.js installed, and to use Node.js you need to know about command-line tools. Something like Windows Command Prompt, PowerShell, Terminal,…
So if you’re new to the command line, read Ionic Terminal tutorial
First, install Node.js
- Goto Download page Node.js get LTS version for your computer.
- Once the download is complete, open Node.js installer.
- Simply follow the prompts in the installer.
After installation with visual interface completed, now you need to use command-line tools.
Run “node -v” and “npm -v” in new command-line windows to check that Node.js has been installed.
Next install Cordova and Ionic framework
While the computer has installed Node.js, installing Cordova Ionic is easy with one command line:
npm install -g cordova ionic
